Queen is a Business, Cannabis, and Trademark attorney in Louisiana. Her family is deeply rooted in the State of Louisiana, as far back as the 1820s. The first nine years of her life were spent in 9th Ward New Orleans, Louisiana. She is thankful for the solid educational foundation that she received through the Orleans Public School System. Her teachers saw the greatness in her at an early age, and instilled in her everyday that she could soar higher than an Eagle.

Queen crafted a wonderful secondary and post secondary education for herself. She is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Italian. While at Southeastern, she studied abroad in Valencia, Spain and Tropea, Italy. She received her Master of Arts in Social Sciences from Southern University Graduate School. In 2018, she received her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center.

 

During her matriculation at SULC, she achieved the following:

 

  • Rule XX Student Attorney through the Southern University Law School Clinic.

  • Enrolled in the following clinics: Family, Civil/Administrative Law, and Disaster Relief.

  • Law clerk for the East Baton Rouge Parish Office of the Public Defender.

  • Judicial Extern for The Honorable Judge Jewel "Duke" Welch of the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal.

  • Junior and Senior Editor for the Journal of Race, Gender, and Poverty. 

  • President, International Law Society.

 

She was invited to join the inaugural Cannabis Law, Compliance, and Policy Institute. It was this institute where Queen found her place in the legal field: a Business and Trademark Attorney. She founded Belle Terre Law Firm, which is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She provides Cannabis and Trademark law services throughout the entire state of Louisiana and it's major cities (Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Orleans, and Shreveport) and nationwide.

 

Queen is a cannabis advocate and knows the: medicinal, spiritual, cultural, and economic powers that Cannabis Sativa L. holds. Those who have been around Queen, knows that she immediately lights up when discussing cannabis.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing and reciting poetry in Louisiana Creole, World Geography, learning about new cultures, Hula Hooping, and Feather Dancing. 

​

As a Cannabis, Business, and Trademark Lawyer, Queen brings a holistic approach to her client's issues. Trained in "Trauma Informed Leadership", Queen takes the time out to make sure that her clients are mentally and emotionally well.
